Gunung Lang Recreational Park which is located only five kilometers from Ipoh town is one of the many limestone mountains in the state of Perak, Malaysia, particularly in Lembah Kinta.
Gunung Lang is a stretch of limestone areas in the centre of Lembah Kinta and it is a recreational area in the north of Ipoh City.
It can be accessed via the North South Expressway through the Sungai Siput and Jalan Kuala Kangsar exit.
This limestone area was explored way back in 1880 by a Malay tin miner, whereby the mining activities were carried out in the caves here.
The only developments permitted for this area are eco-tourism, research and education.
